WELCOME TO

DooCoT Drama

We explore key drama skills through games, improvisation and storytelling.  Children learn to use their imagination to build essential life skills, expressing their own ideas and seeing the world differently to develop empathy with others.

I’ve seen how much every child can benefit from drama.  They’ll make new friends and lasting memories as they grow in confidence.

Unlike other Performing Arts schools, there are no auditions and everyone is welcome.  We are passionate about using ensemble work, and with a shared responsibility in group work, every role is vital to the group’s development and success.

We want to contribute to the vibrant community on the Southside and hope to perform in different local venues and alternative spaces.  We thrive on pushing the boundaries and challenging what young people see as theatre.

Your child is in safe hands with us.  Our team is fully PVG checked and first aid trained.

Primary 6-7 meet on Mondays and Primary 4-5 on Thursdays.

Both sessions run for 2 hours: 3.15-5.15pm at Newlands South Church.

The cost is £12 per session, which can be booked in 6 blocks throughout the academic year.  We also offer a pick up service from Battlefield Primary which can be booked through the registration form.  See the location page for more information,

Block 1 Starts next week! (week commencing 14th September)
